Fundraising Kickoff

Greetings Soccer Girls!

If you missed the meeting today (March 23rd) then you mostly missed out on brownies :)
AND
you can check out the information below about fundraising.

EVERYONE (and yes we will keep track) should volunteer for at least 2-3 "slots" over the course of the summer. You will have plenty of opportunities to volunteer so make sure you pull your weight! The new uniforms will be awesome!

SOCCER FUNDRAISING

Rummage Sale (Sara and Kelsey volunteered to head this)

Start collecting your stuff!!! This sale should be at someone’s house (Steph Carl?) that has good visibility from the road, and is willing to sort and store stuff the week before the sale. They probably need to have a garage. If the sale is well-publicized (craigslist, newspaper, posters) and we have A LOT of stuff we should be able to make a good amount of money.

You know how these work. We typically raise $500+ each time. We will do two over the summer. Dates are TBD. Tiff and Courtney are calling to find dates in late June and early July.

Summer Soccer Monday-Funday (Liz and Morgan are heading these)

Instead of running a typical week-long summer camp, we will be running a clinic each Monday in July. The sessions will run from 9-12am. Each one will cost about $50. Kids can sign-up for one session or all 4. We will accept rising 2nd through 5th graders. The sessions will be really fun, we can play water games, scrimmage, set up stations etc. Depending on the number of kids at each session, we will need at least 4-6 BS girls at each one. Liz and Morgan are working on making a flyer that EVERYONE will need to help distribute. Talk to parents you babysit for, friends of younger siblings, elementary school teachers you know (eh hem...Maddie).

10 girls x $50 = $500
$500 x 4 weeks = $2000
